- 3/4 package phylo
- 300 gr feta cheese, crumbled
- 150 gr gruyere cheese ( Swiss cheese)- or another hard cheese, grated
- 3 eggs
- 2 C milk
- 1 yogurt
- 4 Tbs oil
Directions
- Beat eggs , add oil and milk. Mix well.
- Grease a baking dish
- Spread one sheet of phylo, pour a little of milk mixture, lay another layer of phylo, spread once more a little of milk mixture.
- Spread some cheese.
- Lay another sheet of phylo, pour a little of the milk mixture and spread more cheese.
- Repeat this procedure.
- At the top you have to have 2 layers of phylo only.
- When the phylo is finished pour all the milk mixture that remains.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and refrigerate the Borek (covered with plastic wrap)
- The more it rests in the refrigerator the best it becomes.
- Bake the borek in a 180 C preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Until brown.
Note: You can prepare the same Borek with Maroccan cigars dough as you see in the pictures.
